I Spy Strangers: Horns of a Dilemma

Great news that the flow of visitors to LoL is growing. But some are more welcome than others. Ex-Manchester Lib Dem Councillor Dave Hennigan, who works for Cllr Paul Rowen MP - still a two-jobber like this greedy bugger? - has been monitoring the Rochdale story on Labour of Love and elsewhere.

But now he has piped up and started posting comments with his own brand of joshing, abuse and irrelevant opinion.

The dilemma: should I just take it on the chin? Or perhaps get cocky like this young man?

Or hope that he goes back to lying low like this young fellow me lad seems to be doing.

Very Good Chris - A local priest ran a similar search a while ago and mentioned them. I'd forgot about it, you could have put the nicer ones up (One with my grandad or Bernie)
Wouldn't have got away with that if I was on the Council now but in them old days no one bothered!

We'll see if we can get round to using the nicer ones some other time. Cheers! And thanks very much for the encouragement.

No problem,

in all seriousness, we had nothing to do with the Funeral Stuff, I just hope that whoever sent it gets caught and removed from politics.

I look at your website to find out what Labour are saying or claiming in Manchester - pretty useful at times a load of xxxx in other times but entertaining nether the less! I was never a fan of you writing to the MEN as Chris Paul, Chorlton as I felt it mislead people to your motivations for picking up your pencil - That's why I don't mind these blogs as we pretty much know which angle you are coming from. I wouldn't do one though as I'd be sued within a week. I prefer to hang off people like yourself's coat tails,

When I signed a letter Chris Paul, Chorlton it was from me at home. But when I signed a letter Chris Paul, City Centre Resident's Labour or Chris Paul, Manchester Labour or Chris Paul, IDEA Centre or whatever it was connected with those organisations for which I was candidate, activist or CEO respectively. Sounds a bit straightforward I know. But I am a straightforward kinda guy.

Chris can we not have some serious political comment rather than personal abuse. I'm sure theirs plenty of photos of me pissed but I wouldn't want sum1 putting them up on the internet.

Oh Adele! If you get elected a councillor one day and then after a couple of years in the role you blog a picture of yourself in a coma nursing an empty bottle of JD then expect it to appear again one day. Please don't do it! Fortunately this young man has a sense of humour, unlike some of his yellow friends, with guilty consciences, I might add.

As for the kind editorial guidance I don't remember ever co-opting you onto the board of this blog which will include humour, scandal, satire, news and analysis etc etc in whatever mix the LoL editor may choose.

Chris you have just given me an excellent idea! Perhaps I might do it at youth conference tho preferably when there are no ministers around.

Spose you have to have a sense of humour to be a lib dem. Makes up for the total absence of any policies whatsoever.

Never mind the ministers Adele. It is the cameras that count. Like shaking hands with Blair. Doesn't matter if ministers see you. But a photo? Could end a promising career.

k, no photos then!
