Manchester Withington Selection: Dedicated Followers of Fashion?
Did promise Lorenzo23 that I'd include descriptions of candidate's hustings outfits. Suffice to say there were no ponchos, no cardigans, no faux pas; just five smart women.

It's good to know I'm reading a personal blog. If stuff like this appeared on official labour your plastic red card would be taken to the scissors.
Mmmm. Actually you might have to explain how that would work.
But clearly an official Labour blog would be less, er, frivolous - is that what the silver non-surfers call it. Me, I think 'what not to wear' is something to consider.
As you will of course know if you follow my own technicolour adventures in couture.
Sold a nice pair of second hand Prada shoes on eBay once. Real price, about £200. Sold for £14. Buyer grumpy as they showed some signs of wear - as illustrated clearly in the photos.
Some people!
Are there any instances of independent bloggers being sanctioned or even expelled by orgs they happen to belong to? Scarey stuff.
Are you saying that women can wear whatever they want, but candidates cannot?
What were you doing selling Prada shoes on eBay?
Back to TDWP - so does Mr Blair get the red card every day?
Didn't Jordan try this? Didn't work did it? She forgot to explain her policies I suppose.

1. Not aware of any expulsions etc. That would be very silly. It would double or treble the story to even talk about it.
2. Yes. Men and women can wear what they want, say what they want and do what they want - within some minimal bounds. But candidates cannot.
3. Bought from Oxfam Select for teenager who didn't think they were "sick" or "cold" enough.
4. TB does get the red card every day ... but he never leaves the pitch. Not yet anyway. Like WG Grace who refused to be out more than once, explaining that the punters wanted him. End of.
I think the red card might be your Labour Party membership card, just got mine ready for t'morrow and it was bright red.
Watching Ireland v. England cricket highlights. If we said that sentence last year it would be science fiction.
Can you do an old fashioned Daily Mail commentary tomorrow "the winning candidate wore a two piece dark suit with a cream blouse and matching accessories" sort of thing
Thanks Lorenzo. Hopefully they will be wearing such things, and yes I will try to include some level of correct reporting of that ilk.
My blood pressure can't take any more tales of Jordan-style fish-netting. Seems a bit desperate.
But suppose Yogesh does have some catching up to do. But a very good eve of poll leaflet I thought. Much better than the web presence and previous.
Is there wi-fi in the hall at this school? Anyone know? Or a media relations suite?
And is it true that there has been secret CCTV in the Council Chamber for the last five years?
It's the CCTV from CR 4 I want to examine. Especially for some stand out bullying I've heard of. That was not frivolous.
