Dizzy Thinks: Tory Blogger of the Day

Sad to say Dizzy did not win Tory Blogger of the year from Conservative Home. Certainly the best of the shortlist. So have the judges whoever they are been wowed by Iain's statwanks?

While Iain still had leftover scraps from yesterday on display Dizzy has rattled off some fine stories. Spotting this Manchester/Salford story of Traffic Wardens with an electronic eye and on-the-spot fines for ASB for one.

And spotting that Gordon Brown's brother works in PR for EDF who have designs on new Nuclear Power Station contracts for two.

On the first story the head-mounted CCTV seems novel but we've had wardens doing instant tickets for ASB for years and surely a Tory blogger doesn't mind if they're public or private if they do the work?

And of course Dizzy would be the first to complain - hours before Iain Dale - if EDF didn't get the contract if they offered the best VFM.

Though LOL will be hoping as a red-green lefty to stop the Power Stations and save Gordy the quandary.

Continuing this love affair with Dizzy...

I saw this two days ago in the Torygraph, and almost posted on it. I was sorely tempted to refer to you in it as I am aware that it is in your manor.

It comes to something when a private firm NCP can get super powers that extend far beyond the car park. I note that Not Saussure has done an excellent post on this.

BTW, my argument with Dizzy is that he has no right to seek to put me on trial again for something which was dealt with 28 years ago. If he indeed thinks at all, he needs to think ahead not in the past.

There was an open vote on the winners

Thanks Samuel Coates, an open vote of whom?

And JH I think you should assume DT is simply teasing you the way you tease others?

If you stop digging at he he'll stop digging at ye.

An open vote on the donkey with four legs or the other two donkeys with three legs.

BTW, have you seen newmania's attack on you on Iain's on the forced marriage thread?

Chris Paul said...

No actually I haven't seen it.

JH: Now I have and given Newmania a spin around the block over it.

Isn't that privateering parkie one of Iain's regulars?

I'm sorry, but if Dizzy thinks I'm Socrates.

Chris, it was an Internet voting poll on SurveyMonkey.

Stephen, no need to apologise, being wrong happens to us all. At the end of the day though, it's just the name of a fucking website.

John Hirst says "my argument with Dizzy is that he has no right to seek to put me on trial again for something which was dealt with 28 years ago. If he indeed thinks at all, he needs to think ahead not in the past."

Do you want a Dime bar?
