Deputy Dawgs: "Genuine Surprise" BBC "Pah!" LOL
BBC News dub Harriet Harman's victory as Deputy Dawg a "genuine surprise". Clearly they missed LOL's prediction that Harriet stood to catch up and go past Alan Johnston when Jon Cruddas' second preferences transferred.
So it proved. More BBC coverage and more links.
Jon Cruddas did well to best Hilary Benn for third, but hopes in his camp that he'd be offered the consolation of being made Chair were dashed when Harriet Harman was given this post. Her guarantee of a place at the Cabinet Table.
LOL agree with the commentators who are speculating that there will be no DPM post. Will draw up the rest of my cabinet predictions soon. And given this coup there may be more respect from Dale, GuF and their sock poodles.

Well done political pundit.
Respect from Dale etc? LOL.
What were they all cheering? See my blog...
What's a sock poodle?
On your prediction success you must be pretty bloody good at it if you can guess to less than 1% of the actual result. Pity about the Union vote for Harriet though. Did you predict that?
Here's my own thoughts:

Diablo: Sock Poodle is a step up from Sock Puppet. The latter strictly suggests onanism, the former is more of the mm or bj type of adulation.
Union and affiliate vote. Always overstated in influence by all concerned. This was not a contest that stirred the hearts and minds of the organised working classes.
David: They were all cheering a relatively good humoured contest, an acceptable outcome, rocketing polls and because Brown's stasi in the regional offices was watching them. That's a joke btw. They were enthused and remember the CLPs did place HH first from the off.
Owen: I'll drop you into my links as "Fightback" or would you prefer the full name? Or your own name? Not that this is a personality cult.
Chris - thanks for the explanation. Still none the wiser (except for the onanism bit - you're suggesting they are all w**kers as opposed to priapists? All stuck up and no where to go?)
Useful to know, also, that the organised working class is not so organised after all.
Cheers
(PS: Our time clocks are out of sync - it's Monday morning for me.)
