Electoral Commission: Sam Younger Question 7

Dear Sam Younger

Would it not be useful if allowances were based on standard limits on ITEMS PRODUCED rather than on the cost of those items?

For instance if a constituency party was allowed to produce a total of (number of households x 5) items of specified print (e.g. an election address, a postal leaflet, a targeted letter, an outcard, an eve of poll reminder) would this not be far better than expecting them all to be honest in saying what all the items truly cost?

Best wishes
