Dear Sam Younger

Would it not be a useful exercise for EC or others (independent academics) to look at the returns of all 'competitive' candidates and look for patterns of spend and costs declared?

Deviations in future elections from from norms discovered would suggest further inquiries could be worthwhile?

Asked for this at your stand at Labour's 2005 conference, was promised a response by email, but none came.
