Spanish Socialists: Protecting Royals From Bad Jokes?

Pickled Politics reports that Spain may have a Socialist government but is still under the Royal Jackboots. Two journalists get fined £2,100 apiece for lampooning royal procreation and a socialist baby bounty law providing €2,500. The story dates from the summer when El Jueves ran a cover cartoon showing a Royal coupling. Copies were snatched from newstands nationwide and sequestered.
