Derby Day: Three Hundred Simultaneous Defectors?

Sheikh Mohammed has long since entered the establishment, above on a traditional Derby Day.

A plot for entryism from some 300 Labourites on a less traditional Derby Day is however causing some consternation in Tory Circles.

Methinks they have a problem, I wonder how a "300" ethnic transfer is going to play with the "traditional" Tory Vote.

Whilts I have no problem with other nasty parties knocking lumps off the Tory vote I would not like it done by the BNP or similar.

They certainly do have a problem. Previous BME defectors have been met with less than huge enthusiasm by the Tory Party at large. This kind of mass movement is familiar - as is double membership - to LDs and Lab but is new territory for Tories. Cllrs are fairly to very unlikely to get re-elected as Tories. And re-defections are also fairly likely.
