Iain Dale For Big Brother House: Vote Him In NOW!

It seems top blogger and former Tory PPC Iain Dale is all set to follow in the footsteps of the young politico Ginger John and the gnarled old tub slapper George Galloway and go on Big Brother. But only if enough people vote "Yes" rather than "No" or "Couldn't Give a Rat's Arse" HERE. I think he'd be excellent entertainment, plus there's a chance they'd stop him blogging for a week or two!

The fool posted it after 12 O' Clock, and you're an even bigger fool for being taken in by it.

I was taken in by it!!!!!!

Taken in by it JH? What do you mean?

When you are in a hole, stop digging. Tim said you have to take your lumps. He agrees you were fooled. But, you are in good company because Tim has posted that GUF was also taken in by it. And, Dale has posted that he was not aware of the noon deadline. Given his school playground mentality I find this hard to accept.

Tim? Does Tim think I put up this post believing we could really get rid of Dale for a week or so?

Obviously I had checked it out before linking to it. Only an amateur would not after all. It was my duty.

Yeah Hirst, what is the difference between falling for something and checking it out? Clearly CP has checked it as he quotes the third answer on Dale's poll verbatim.

Chris, I don't know what Tim thinks about getting rid of Dale for a week only what he states in relation to your post falling for Dale's belated April Fools joke.

Given that Dale has posted a story about some footballer's wage slip on the day that Bertie Ahern announces he is stepping down because of financial irregularity shows that he does not have his finger on the political pulse. He's a spent force.

An Inspector Calls: I checked the post out and dismissed it for what it was a belated April Fools joke.

And I checked it out and decided it was worth a link and a chance to slap ginger john, george galloway and iain dale all in one short post. I wasn't exactly "taken in" as you keep muttering manically.

I'll leave the maniac label to Tim. Don't take it to heart, you might get your own back next year...

Chris, given the option of:

a) mocking Dale for having a poor sense of humour and timing to the point of being a fool by definition

b) having a pointless shot at Galloway and some ginger bloke.

... you chose to run with (b)

Is that your position?

Keep in mind that one thing that makes Dale so objectionable is that he never fully admits to making a mistake, and he rarely does so graciously.

(Oh, and JHL? I'm with you on this, but it's hardly Watergate, is it?)

:O)

Tim: I was just amused that Chris had been taken in, then even more amused by his question "what do you mean?". As you say, it's no big deal. I am now amused by the drama queen accusing Justin of homophobia...and mildly disappointed he didn't throw the charge at me.

The idea that I have been taken in is plain wrong John. Read what I wrote, apply logic, and that's clear. Had a pop at Dale, Ginger and Galloway. But hey ho, perhaps I should have launched a nit picking crusade against a fellow blogger instead?

Tim's right. De nada.
