Lindley Throws Toys: Claims Unison "Gloating"

Unison had a warm-hearted rolling blog during their two days of industrial action on Wednesday and Thursday. But the Walkden Grinch Cllr Iain Lindley called it "gloating" and "appalling". Which is ridiculous. He should get out more.
There are far too many underpaid workers in the public services and while 2.45% and a year or two of stiff upper lip won't go amiss among the better paid among us, rises in basic foods and fuel hit the lower paid disproportionately. Unison do not use their right to strike willy nilly. Apart from anything else it costs low-paid members too much in lost pay.

Talk of "gloating" is not appropriate to the information at the Unison site. And a couple of days without rubbish collections and libraries is not the sea to drink.

Has history repeats itself time and time again.
Isn't it funny that people always strike near the end of a Government.
Times up!!

Not at all, not at all BILM. And Boris after all has started on the road to some kind of living wage in London, though sadly not yet got round the table with the RMT.

Militant unions? You're having a laugh aren't you? A very disciplined and minimal withdrawal of labour by low paid workers.
