Tory Sleaze: How Are Cameron's Rogues Escaping?

More than a week has passed since Dave Hill blogged about Ken's eloquent two fingers to the "forensic independent panel". But I'm reminded of another Johnson enigma. Why did Boris use the excuse of not spending London council tax payers' money on an ex-employee to stand down investigation of "Rip Off Raymond" Lewis' appointment while pursuing Ken and various ex-employees?

Surely Nick Boles and indeed Boris Johnson who made the appointment are still on the payroll? Even if Ray Lewis has been thrown to the wolves? But it must be said it is very disappointing to see the press wolf pack moving on without tearing the man's cover stories and Boris' judgements to ribbons.

How are the Conservatives getting away so lightly with all their sleaze?
