And extraordinarily the BBC News Channel are using various short loops (at c 20 seconds each) of tanks and armoured vehicles, possibly in South Ossetia, or not. Possibly Georgian, or not. Over and over again. Without annotation, reminding me of school siege coverage. The Georgian side says there is a full blown Russian invasion force comprising border crossing 150 tanks so far. Which they say they are resisting. It's peace and love at Olympics Time. Hurrah!

Were you aware that originally at Olympics time all war had to stop for the duration. It's true. Look it up.
Exactly. Though I'm not sure the Barbarians outside the Greek auspices had to pay attention to that.
