Mercury Music Awards: Elbow Pass On Award
Great to see Manchester's Elbow winning the Mercury and passing the award on to the mantlepiece of the mother of a late lamented comrade. Manchester's REM? Doing the indie thing for more than ten years before the recognition comes.
