It's Official: Con SC "Couldn't Organise Cokey Orgy in Brothel"

This is wild. Don't know whether it a kind of job interview for a tilt at a winnable seat that pops up in the last few months of the campaign. And if so which party are to benefit from Stephen Greenhalgh's experience. But he's right. As he tells Public Finance magazine:

  • ‘My mates are all in the shadow Cabinet, waiting to get those [ministerial] boxes, being terribly excited. I went to university with them, they haven’t run a piss-up in a brewery,’ he said.

‘They’re going to get a department of state, in one case running the finances of the nation.’

  • What's more .. Conservative Home's Tim Montgomerie agrees, in spades, doubled and redoubled. Of course one of the persistent Tory themes has been the lack of real world experience of Labour MPs.

But, it's now official, the crew the Cons are offering up to take up the reins of state .. could not organise a piss up in a brewery. And it takes a mate to point it out.

Well done Cllr Stephen Greenhalgh! Now, stop cutting council services in Hammersmith and Fulham, you complete Conservative monster you.
