God's Own YouTubers: God Tube and Islam Tube


Dizzy points out Godtube and Islamtube. Dizzy suggests that the latter includes some rather dangerous material. Which is true.

So does the former:

Oh Rapture! Good to know that guys like this have GW Bush's ear and were consulted before the high level bombing, invasion and occupation of Iraq.

Dizzy 1: Of course he does. He wants to bring about the end of the world, including by egging on people with nukes to slaughter innocents. Even if unsuccessful this is contributing to the ardour of terrorists in the region and worldwide.

Dizzy 2: They anticipate and seek to facilitate the end of the world. Sorry Dizzy but this trumps 7/7 and 9/11 by around seven orders of magnitude.

I do not suggest any moral equivalence and rather resent the suggestion which is of the with us or against us level of banality and illogicality.

A couple of years ago I got monstered at a LP meeting for opposing endorsement of a link with a large settlement in the occupied territories.

I was suddenly deemed racist, anti-semite, revolutionary, trotskyite, an Israel-denier and the rest. I have never received an apology for that revolting outburst of unfounded insults.

I am simply pointing out that there are dangerous people represented in both the Jesus and the Mohammed digerati. It is very hard to calculate which of these may be more dangerous now, in the medium term or towards the end of time.

Must say I'm with Chris on this. The yankee god botherer hates liberty, democracy, women, homosexuals, modernity, fun. So do the Islamic fundies. But the yankee one has more clout. His President is rather on board on his strange trip.

Sorry, but the yank has bugger all influence. Bush is not an "end times" christian.
