Lord Turncoat: Gordon Brown "Stalinist Ruthlessness"

Hardly the big story which the bored media make it. Tomorrow: Pope "Wears Pointy Hat", Bear "Facilities in Woods", Dog "Bites Man".

I'd find is stranger if, having dedicated his life to achieving high office, Brown decided he was going to follow others' agenda. And, unlike his lordship, Brown has been elected on his agenda.

"others" as in Cabinet colleagues, hundreds of labour MPs and 190,000 (and falling) Party members, and 4 million trade unionists. The man is a car crash waiting to happen.

190,000 is surely now a massive over-estimate of paid up membership? I don't agree that he is a car crash though. The epithet "Stalinist" would fit most leaders and wannabes of most parties just now. This is what Hillary is being attacked for. And certain of mind and ruthless in seeing it through is GREAT if the plan is GREAT TOO!

Lord Turncoat is clearly a tosser. And I suspect that many lefties would be happy with our Stalinist rather than a New Labour Stalinist. I can't recall John McDonnell ever being a shrinking violet. he is very certain of his mind. He likes to get his way. And he dismisses those who disagree as traitors, fools, and worse. Allegedly.

That's why he is beloved of the left!
