Nell Lane Estate: Posters Don't Have Votes

Whereas there are normally more posters on show on the Nell Lane Estate in Chorlton Park ward than people who vote by this stage in the game ... this year literally none can be seen. There are a few on the Weller and lots in some enclaves of the Mersey Bank. It is not Shameless Norman Look-a-Likey or Shameless Absentee Cllr/MP John Leech up this time. They just don't seem to care about whatever the other one's name is.

Poor Tony Bethell. Hung out to dry by Leech and his cronies.

Yes, his majority may slump to er, way less than 1000. But seriously an "Anyone But Shameless" might well see them getting trounced. It's about time. Imagine if the other 94% on Norman's estate actually voted. Surely they want rid of these clowns? Just in it for their £15,000.

If they plan to get Norman's girlfriend and Norman's daughter in as councillors next time they'll have to see Bethell lose this time won't they? perhaps that's it.

Hayley being the one who wrote to the paper after their Shameless Own Goal fiasco saying she had "met" her dad Norman and that he was OK.

If they carry on putting leaflets out with labour rosettes on rats they won't have any councillor left

So are you saying I should stop work on the Labour cat mullering Lib Dem rat graphic?

Excellent stories on this subject in Guardian and BBC etc today. By opposing AWC - which incidentally they have on several of their own councils, like York - they are opposing a 25% upsurge in recycling rates.
