Dizzy Clunks: Looking A Bit Thin On The Ground

Seems to me that generic statements hoping that banks and mortgage lenders will not place the repossession card too much is hardly inconsistent with beings hands off, arms length with Northern Rock, Bradford and Bingley or whatever. Dizzy begs to disagree. Seems a weak sort of story.

This was Dizzy's first post since Friday. Then he was grizzling about the mail-to service on the Number 10 website being interrupted, which had happened a week or two before and also seems a weak sort of story for a man who boasts of breaking countless major money and IT stories before breakfast. The Robert Peston of the blogosphere.

Dizzy linked to a ZDNet story explaining how the PM, then Blair, only got a public email facility some years ago, after a campaign by Diz's mortal enemy Timbo who bloggerheaded the viral SP.

Other ways of contacting the Prime Minister are by fax on 020 7925 0918 or writing to him at 10 Downing Street, London, SW1A 2AA.

Or you might drop a line to Jon Trickett MP, Brown's bag carrier here or for that matter here. (These launch mailer).

"a man who boasts of breaking countless major money and IT stories before breakfast. The Robert Peston of the blogosphere."

And these countless boasts are where exactly?

Incidnetally, Yvette Cooper wasn't just making a statement, she make a comment about legislation too.

Those boasts are made on your behalf by Dale. And do we really have a problem with slowing down the rate of repossession? By all banks and mortgage lenders? (a) By increasing inter bank lending (tick); (b) By recapitalising banks by both backstopping stock issues and buying stock (tick); or even (c) legislating?
