Milkstone and Deeplish: Verdict on ex-Councillor/MP

An unsolicited view on Paul Rowen MP's prowess while working in his former council ward in Rochdale:

"He's about as much use as a chocolate fireguard. No no, that's not fair, he's not even as much use as a chocolate fireguard."

I heard a very similar conversation on the Curry Mile on Friday night.

1st Senior Labour councillor: "Chris Paul's problem is that he isn't half as clever as he thinks he is."

2nd SLC: "If he was half as clever as he thought he was there wouldn't be a problem as he would still be a genius - on everything. But he isn't."

1st Labour apparachik (gruffly): "And it's not his problem, it's ours."

Looks like you must have a namesake.

Good graphic.
Chocolate fireguards would make an excellent Christmas novelty.

Wally Range : As if any of these people are talking about me, like that or at all. You daft twat.

Even if they were they would no doubt be relieved that however useless I may or may not be I am not pretending to be a serious MP for Rochdale.

Culture Vulture : The graphic comes from a site called The Choccies which sadly hasn't made one - an award - since 2004.

Then he must be one of the few people you haven't pretended to be.

WR: What are you on exactly Dave Hennigan's sock muppet? Same stuff as Dave himself?

Don't worry, Wally, I've noticed it too.

Hilarious double act! Just need Hennigan and you sockies can have an orgy ... for one.

I'm no apologist for Paul Rowen, but if he's that bad how come the Rochdale Liberal Democrats can run rings around their Labour counterparts...? Doesn't say much for your guys and gals.
