Derek Draper's PC World: From Politically Correct to Incorrect ...
... In THE BLINK OF A LENS.
There have been times in Derek draper's too brief sojourn as Editor of Labour list where that thrusting organ has looked a bit like PC World. Attacking Guido's little helpers for being mean, sexist, homophobic, smeary - a bit like D McBride's own canon. And Iain Dale for being an apologist for Little Miss Racist, which invited and got the old "reverse smear" treatment from an old hand.
PC World though now takes on a brave new meaning. Clearly there can be all kinds of plausible explanations for taking your computer's CPU, and a portable filing chest for a ride in a taxi. When you are under media intense scrutiny. When your computer communications have been called into question. When your own lack of finesse with the 010101010011100000 world has dobbed yourself and your little tosserly gang in it.
Nonetheless we would recommend not making this almost certainly entirely innocent manouevre in the full glow of the papparazi. They are sure to jump to the wrong conclusions.
Most feasible explanation: Fearing a search warrant or a dawn raid a responsible clinical practitioner moves his client records to a place of safety. Or perhaps he'd going to have his hard drive fixed?
The Daily Mirror headline on their piece is an absolutely disgraceful smear. But this is so clumsy Dezzer old chum. Don't you have a blooming screw driver? Or a trustworthy courier account?

This may be of interest to those concerned about the impact of governance in Turks and Caicos on other remaining members of the British Empire

The linked from the Times provides background on the situation in Turks and Caicos - I don't think the British Press have yet noted that the evidence revealed to the Commission of Inquiry regarding the $20m+ of loans provided to former Premier Misick - of which £10m+ was provided by Belize Bank and Coral Island - the evidence and "(Ashcoft)" after Coral Island presumably to indicate some link.
It will be interesting if the COnservative Party is to declare any potential conflict of interest in any debates on the matter in the UK Parliment.

tbngu,
I'd be interested to know if His Lordship got a Salmon Letter (they went out the other week). Interestingly the Bank formerly know as Selize has just been renamed British Caribbean Bank. The new website mkes absolutley no reference to its former name. Well if it worked for Windscale....
This story is barely on the radar at the moment, but with final report of the Auld Commission due before the end of the month I have a feeling that may be about to change.
