Guardian Media: Slam Telegraph Chequebook Journalism

Guardian Media Cry Foul over Telegraph chequebook journalism. While they promise to publish all, irrespective of party, they've certainly not done so today.

Reminds me a little of the great sickies scandal showing relatively high sick leave in Greater Manchester authorities. IIRC Tory Trafford with similar figures to Labour Salford and Manchester was not mentioned in the Telegraph story at all. Links to follow.

UPDATE 09:41: Have scanned through the highlights, summarised by the DT HERE and must say that, given the general and fabled state of the expenses system, there isn't much to look at. Given Mr David Cameron's sheepish interviews on what may come out we'll be interested to see the Opposition Day tomorrow, or Sunday. And we're still intrigued at the identity of the prominent Lib Dem who is expecting the sack.
