Iain Dale: Completely Lost Plot on Fantasist Ray Lewis

Iain has come over all unnecessary with psychological projection of a combination of Ray Lewis and Uncle Tom as the position of those - from left, right and centre, and the Church of England - who think that appointing such a dishonest, self-deluding man as the Mayor's first deputy was a mistake. Read it here and weep.

I seem to remember you ran a "rush to judgement" play in the case of Miranda Grel and Lee Jasper.

They had, of course, Labour Party stamped on their arses.

No such scruples now.

Whoever you are anonymous you're wrong. Ray Lewis has got wrong 'un all the way through him, whatever successes he may also have had, he was not suitable for a political role at this level.

Incidentally Ray Lewis is pretty much a Labour supporter despite his willingness to be over-promoted by any party in power as he has been by the Tories.

I was wrong about Miranda Grell who has been twice convicted of several of the counts she was accused of. I accepted that mistake with as much good grace as I could muster.

In the case of Lee Jasper there is still nothing sticking to him at all. And you might know if you had done your research that he was a bit of a fan of Lewis. Thought never having given him a job i.e. not having had to do CRB or due dilligence as Johnson should have done.

Or even taken a reference from his employers.
