Daily Mirror: Attack on Derek Draper Over un-PC World Vanishes

Don't say we didn't tell you so (above)! Those scurrilous Daily Mirror photographs implying that the disgraced bum fluff stumble bum Derek Draper has been at it - taking his PC from the scene of his un-PC World activities have been removed without explanation. It was all a disgraceful smear, based on a few innocent photographs of a muchly misunderstood man merely taking a favoured computer and some cherished paper records for a taxi ride on a sunny afternoon. We all do it, now don't we?

As we said at the time The Daily Mirror headline on their piece is an absolutely disgraceful smear. Fortunately if you missed this scurrilous example of the dark arts - employed by the mainstream media who should know better, and not by some amateurish shrinks and ill-disciplined attack dogs - Derek Draper's greatest fan Matt Wardman has created another of his DD shrines. A shrine to a man who simply does not get enough attention and recognition. Sharpen your pencils! Write to the Editor of The Mirror! Demand an apology! Here's their invitation to do just that.

For the Record

The Daily Mirror tries to correct errors and clear up confusion as soon as possible. The Press Complaints Commission (PCC) is the independent body which governs the newspaper industry. It has a Code of Practice we adhere to. This, along with details on how to complain, is available from Halton House, 20/23 High Holborn, London EC1N 2JD. Website http://www.pcc.org.uk or email complaints.pcc.co.uk Telephone: 020 7831 0022 Helpline: 0845 600 2757.

More likely to get 4-page pull out in the Sunday Mirror. But worth a try nonetheless.

FRANGLAIS FOOTNOTE: If you tag a graphic "Draper Rag Out" without spaces you get draperragout ... which makes it look like he's in a stew. Apologies Derek. An accident is all.

Draper's eyes tell the tale. Can that camera see that computer? he's thinking. Yes we can, replies the plucky camera. Draper is either a complete idiot or he is just loving all this and wants to be hung or a sheep not a lamb.
