Dale's "BogPost": Tory Analysis Down The Toilet

Says Unity at the most excellent Ministry of Truth emporium. Meanwhile World Markets are recovering. Inflation is surely on the way down - but not before boosting the next Pensions and Benefits settlement - petrol may go sub £1 soon, Electricity bills and the price of Bread itself are tumbling. The Sun has got his hat on, Hip hip hip hooray!

Inflation is at a 16-year high. But you're partly right, Chris. It will soon be on the way down.

According to all the reports this morning it will be driven downwards by the effects of recession.

Yippee. Let's party like it's 1999.

Well having suffered 14 weeks on the dole since my employers went belly up I was very happy to be told this morning that I had got a new job at double my previous sallery.

Yes there is a God.

Brilliant news GW!

And as for you EHC ... is there a sensible thought in your head? if so can we have that one instead of more crap?

Which party was in power 16 years ago? And 17, 18, 19, 20, 25 etc years ago. Difference is this time it's not going double digit.

Inflation is going to come down pretty quickly with oil and food and utilities prices. Hopefully the recession will be the minimal technical type and not the years and years of the Tories.

You are a miserable contrarian fucker. That's official. Cheer up and stop arguing for argument's sake. Please.

The Tories were in power 16 years ago. And your point is?

Your comment about this month being the trigger for next year's increases in pensions and benefits is one I had overlooked. Does that go for minimum wage too, or is that not index-linked? It appears to rise faster than inflation. Is there some sort of gearing mechanism?

The downside to that would appear to be that, at present, inflation for the low-paid is almost certainly higher than the headline figure, so people will merely be clawing back next year what they have had to spend extra on food and fuel this year

Sorry to be a contrarian fucker but for your information, I am not miserable. That's official.

Does you mean that I am contrary and a fucker or that I am I fucker of contrarians. If so, pucker up, buttercup.

EHC, save all your kisses for Cyril's rosey cheeks.

Contemptible.

As is Chris' use of the title of a a racist song to illustrate his Pollyanna view of a half-decent day on the Stock Exchange.

O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!

Many more reasons to be mindlessly cheerful today.

Unemployment up 64,000. This means much less factory pollution and many fewer journeys to work. That carbon emissions target may even be in sight.

House sales down massively, meaning fewer estate agants.

Retail sales are down 1.5% in a single month, meaning that, well, not sure really. But it must be something good so let's rejoice anyway.

Racist song? I didn't know that EHC I'll check that out. See below.

NMW is going up at two or three times the going rate you ignoramus.

You are coming over like a complete and utter idiot mate. Ask me to delete these if you wish and I will.

If you had an iD on any of the major blog platforms you'd be able to delete your own idiocy.

Yep the boy idiot is right ... the verse of the "sun hat on" song, a verse that AFAIK no-one ever sings and few of us know, ... is racist.

The question about NMW was a totally genuine one. I was asking whether it was going up at a calcuable rate or if it was decided nearer the time. I also said that it seemed to be going up faster than if it was purely indexed linked, so I was not criticising the Labour government - far from it.

As for your ignorance of the racism of that song, I'll just add it to the list.

Leave my idiocy alone, it has taken me years to nurture. How about you? Nature or nurture?

God, your an objectionable type EHC. What an unmitigated series of miserable and argumentative contributions you provide. I have no idea whether you googled the song to discover the racist WORD (singular) in this song? or already knew about it, clever clogs, as you imply.

I didn't know about it. We live and learn. Your casting of aspersions like this is wearing and utterly contemptible. And you're still hiding. Pathetic.

Of course EHC knew the words, they were sung to him in a cheeky review show at Fib Dem Rochdale HQ by a politically incorrectly made up Dave Hennegan and Ted Flynn who also performed a few Al Jolson songs. It was all broken up by an irate Norman Smith who doesn't like 'those sort' over his threshold.

Where do you think League of Gentlemen got the idea from?

Rochdale Fib Dems like to keep their politics LOCAL and dispise outsiders.

Only a select few get to enjoy the special meat in Royston Vasey.

If you must know, I was at a lecture given by the editor of BBC News who raised the issue of what to report and which words to use or not use when reporting the Celebrity Big Brother racism row. He then mentioned the issue of various song lyrics, of which this was one.

Sorry to disappoint.
