Cross Town Traffic: Every Day is Coleman Fool's Day

Good to hear that Tory GLA nincompoop, inveterate taxi hirer, ligger and police informant Brian Coleman has become a strange bedfellow of George Galloway in slagging off Crossrail.

Coleman's regular everyday lunacy is demonstrated frequently. Another day, another dopey pronouncement.

A proposal to build a multi-story car park on Potters Fields a particularly good example. Park and ride in Southwark for city boys anyone? Ride in a GLA account taxi, naturally. Coleman ran the meter to £10,000 as GLA chair, claiming it was OK as he went to 169 ligs during the year. Just under £60 per shindig. Goodness knows how much carbon puffed into Londoners' lungs. The other 24 members of the GLA (real link) only just managed to match him ... between the lot of them.

Not a man to be advising New Statesman readers on strategic public transport matters I'd have thought?

PHOTO: Sadly couldn't find a picture of Coleman helping with a cycling launch. So that's in fact Konnie Huq (top).

Disclaimer: Photo taken without permission of the Biased BBC. BC is pictured far right. Amazingly sleek considering liggage and reliance on cab-age.

Hat tip re Crossrail: Luke "he's anti-voting" Akehurst.

P(r)oxy Smearing: Signposting London Colemanballs

Good to see Iain Dale staying arms length from some silly smears and innuendoes from the loathsome Tory neantherdal Brian Coleman. The latter has used a New Statesman blog post for a rambling - almost inebriated sounding - string of generalisations about public figures, perceived as being "lefties".

Assuming Iain Dale remains tea total this is not one of the smear he will ever need to defend on his own behalf. But imagine the outrage if it were a commentator of the left saying Boris is unfit for office as he once got sozzled, or Cameron should be hounded out of parliament as he once got high, or that Osborne can't get tax sums right since he overindulged once at conference?

Reading his blog - this Brian Coleman seems to be a nasty arsey old Tory dinosaur who is by turns censorious (of the left) and libertarian (when it comes to the right).

He will allow ALL politicians to take a drink too far at a party conference, even excusing or laughing at or egging on perhaps a rather serious sounding sexual assault by a Tory MP which if involving a predatory hetero Labour MP rather than a predatory homo Tory one would very likely involve some more naming and shaming or at least another gurt dollop of innuendo.

Meanwhile Coleman generalises on the theme of the supposed general drunkeness of three London figures from some loosely alleged third hand and third rate drunken moments or in one case a supposed "well known" medical condition.

Was this "methodist" high Tory Thatcherite actually drunk when he dribbled this nonsense out? Do the New Statesman actually pay for such a garrulous, petty and careless correspondent to vent low rent jibes and gibberish of the worst kind?

They should sack him not give him a column.

Let us not forget that while Ken clearly enjoys the odd glass of red Bozzer and Cam and Oz are stalwarts of a despicable drinking and dining club which kills fox cubs by "stoning" with empty champagne bottles, thrashes restaurants willy nilly and generally engages - to this day - in behaviour that makes a slurring Mayor, a troubled Transport guru, or even a stumbling copper seem like a complete non story.

Nasty man this Coleman. Tell us about some top Tories and some illegal drugs Brian. Or more on this predatory pederast. But forget "man gets tipsy at drinks party" as this is down there with "dog bites man".

Brian Coleman: Nasty Daffy Toad Has Got To Go

Many thanks to my anonymous tipper-offer who provides these much needed opportunities to undermine the wankerly knob, filthy fire-starter, all round misanthropist, Heath-outer, and taxi-maniac Brian Coleman:

Brian Coleman (aka Mr Toad) has got to go: Facebook Group | MySpace Campaign

Apparently BC (the time where his attitudes come from) thinks useless Tory stuffed shirts like himself should be paid far more money to pontificate and preen. And he's "open to offers". He has himself reciprocated and showed he's game with an offer to walk naked down Ballsout Lane should the 2012 Olympics come in under budget. Rough trade indeed.

UPDATE 19:51: Keep fitter Brian Coleman, responsible at times for more than half of GLA taxi use, is also responsible for a quarter of free dinners consumed by honourable members.

Dale: "I want to be an MP to fight for people like this"

"Boris Johnson MP had a moment of clarity while exploring ancient white English culture while adrift in his supergrade coracle"

Boris Johnson has blogged this and Iain Dale has joined in here. The case is of a middle class white man in Henley who is from Zimbabwe having some problems getting any form of leave to remain or asylum.

Some of the comments on Dale's piece are choice. "Is it because I is white?" is a theme from quite a few, which Iain gainsayed quickly, but which other Tory visitors and linked bloggers seem to perpetuate as the very way of thinking which Dale is I am sure correctly denying in himself.

Although Towestrian has not posted on their blog since before Christmas offers this insight:

"I have a close relative who used to work in the immigration department of the Home Office. One of the reasons he left was because from the mid 90's the place became full of lefties who would bend over backwards to give whites of colonial descent a hard time in these type of cases."

Shortly before Christmas I too blogged on an immigration case. Read Santa Must Die HERE and google to find out more about that remarkable case. There have been no favours from the "Trots" at the Home Office. Whatever will be suggested by such unattributed and bizarre sources next?

This brilliant woman has even been visited by officials advising her to get on the next plane before they come for her and her children in the middle of the night. They claimed over and over again that they knew nothing about her new claim which had been allowed. But they left some of their papers behind. on the top of which was a crystal clear memorandum which explained that this family needed no harrassment and threats.

Good luck to Mark Coleman. There are many voluntary organisations and individuals in this country who are together fighting hundreds and thousands of cases for people of every creed and colour, from many dangerous countries or specific personal dangers. NO ONE should be sent back to Zimbabwe!

Making Mr Coleman into a cause celebre in the Daily Telegraph (more choice comments on the same piece from Boris) and elsewhere in this way is stirring up some very strange stuff from the righteous right in this country.

Having relatives that served in British wars is not now and hopefully never will be a criterion for being granted leave to remain. In my view the biggest system failure on asylum handling is the belittling of women's cases involving a real and completely justified fear of persecution and killing but recorded and treated as domestics.

In Chorlton, Manchester where I live our resident and very welcome asylum seekers are a pretty varied bunch. If Boris and Iain get bogged down in Henley I can provide some contacts.

There is I think a very long way to go in Mr Coleman's case. But not I wager onto a flight to Zimbabwe.

Brian Coleman: Crying "Fire!" and "Taxi!" In Crowded Theatre

Meanwhile Sadie seems to be either fishing for compliments - "you look just peachy, as usual, darling, mwm, mwm" - or for the name of Nadine's botulism injector? But she's telling no tales on Derek Draper's private blogger party. She is however able to rise above her exhausted cronery and rightly showing solidarity with a fellow damsel blogger Lynne Featherstone who reckons becoming a councillor is a good source of pin money "to pay for a cleaner" for the local unemployed. But hey, that Brian "Taxi!" Coleman op cit sure is a masturbatory loser of the worst kind. Tell your tannoy!

Quaequam Blog: Brian Coleman Johnson's Master Now

The "Blinging Idiot" Brian Colman that is. The one who accused Nicky Gavron of having "hands dripping in blood" in a bizarre inauguration speech. Had he been on the sauce?

Caught Coleman getting things wrong a few times myself. He'll probably run his taxi meter well beyond the £10,000 mark this year.

Whether Bozo lets CCHQ keep him in check or not there's another Tory Timebomb ticking in City Hall.

Tory Mayoral Candidate: LOL are Backing Boris

Boff is serious and a slasher, ruddy Borwick is into detail except where vagueness serves better, and lightweight Warwick wants to be Chair of the Arts Council or the Design Council or the Tourist Board. Something or other. Not Mayor anyway.

Bozzer will surely have some ideas soon?

The BBC has a story that certain Labour members, uncertain New Statesman readers, and anyone game for a laugh is piling in to the Tory mayoral primary to stop Boris.

Who on earth would want to stop him? I'm Backing Boris for candidate, who could resist his bumbling? :

Back Boris for Mayor of London ... Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my campaign site.
I’m busy working on finalising my priorities for London and pulling together the talented individuals who will make up my campaign, and that includes you. If you have specific areas of interest or knowledge where you think you can help, please do get back in contact via info@backboris.com.
London is, without a doubt, the greatest city on the planet. However, I believe it can be greater still.
Looking forward to putting a smile back on the face of Londoners ... Boris

The idea that Labour might disrupt the Tory selection as Tory Boy Bloggers suggest and STOP Boris being the candidate is quite extraordinary. Even Warwick who is seeking some different job is more of a threat. And Boff would be a real threat, reminding of old Robocop in the North East. Ruddy Vicky too. Boris Johnson is just a joke entry who will embarrass the Tory Party into oblivion. This fact has won LOL's support.

The fact it is a New Statesman blog witterer and some funseekers rather than "The Labour Party" when the links are perused shows just how floppy and sloppy the TBB's are on fact checking.

Have Labour managed to select any muppets at open selections for Tory candidates up and down the country? Requiring a mere handful of voters? NO? This being so how are they going to overcome the deathwish London Tory party?

Silly Standard. Silly story. Silly TBBs. Up with "man has drink at drinks party". In the Express and the Standard btw Coleman gave evidence of Ian Blair's drunkeness in the form of the allegation that he had been witnessed drinking a glass of wine rather quickly after his speech. Wow!

This is something I did the last time I spoke after a dinner, having stayed more or less temperate up to that moment.

Hardly a dead giveaway of wreckless drunkeness in a free country. Clearly if Sir Ian Blair messes up his work through drink that's another matter. But being squiffy every now and then at a function when the Met continues to improve significantly on most critieria? Not something we'd see in Manchester. But acceptable for second class London.

Westmonster: Boris Johnson Is No Fly Boy! Unlike Dave

Boris sticks to a promise! Shock Horror! Westmonster have caught the owl of the remove downsizing his airline footprint. By personally planning on travelling cattle class to Beijing! And not taking Chef Ramsay! Or Brian Coleman!

Thing is Lord Ashcroft's non-domiciled, non-resident executive jet has a classless society on board does it not? All toffs together. Or perhaps Boris is relying on Chinese Fortune Cookie say: "Fawning airrine staff, bounce crown to first crass" (With apologies to Jonathon Ross).

As Westmonster has turned we are glad to see a whole flock of eagle-eyed seagulls following Boris' trawler of broken promises: Boris Watch | Boris Watchers | Bozzawatch | Dave Hill | Tory Troll | ... Don't Screw This Up.
